JP's review of 2013 Spokane Marathon.

Review

Beautiful marathon to run. Maybe I'm biased because I lived there for close to 3 years but the one time I did it was was very cool. It is tough course especially having to run Doomsday at around mile 22 but despite that it was one my favorite marathons and I've ran over 20.

Race Tips

Don't start off to fast remember to save yourself for the second half. Practice running hills you will need it especially going up Doomsday. Make sure to fuel properly so you don't bonk in the race.

Logistical Tips (Hotels, Restaurants, Parking, Discounts, etc.)

I got dropped off at the race but if I did have to park I would look at parking around the arena it's not that far of a walk from the start of the race. Both finish and start are at Riverfront Park.
