The Prince of Wales Marathon is an out-and-back course starting at Craig High School. Runners travel along the Klawock Channel portion of the Inside Passage, turn left at the Crossroads in Klawock to head out to what many consider to be one of the most scenic routes in Alaska - The Big Salt Lake Highway. Runners return to the finish line on the same route.

Review
Intimate race, great terrain - extremely scenic, pre-race dinner was FANTASTIC, post-race salmon was one of a kind.
I suggest BACON! :)
Race Tips
ALWAYS prepare for rain! I was concerned w/ fuel, so I packed my own - was refreshing on the uphills when no one present.
Save your energy for the hills and note when they are prior to the race so you don't run out of steam! Have your camera handi as you may have a Smokey The Bear sighting! hehe
