The God's Country Marathon course runs uphill from approximately 1,300 feet to over 2,400 feet in the first 18 miles. After climbing 1,100 feet, the course runs downhill for the next 8 miles to the finish at about 1,650 feet. PRs and BQs will be earned on this course.
The 18 mile long uphill section followed by a potentially "quad-busting" 8 mile and 800 feet downhill section makes this a challenging course that comes with a feeling of reward upon completion.
Scenic course in rural north central Pennsylvania. Small town support makes this a memorable event for participants.
God’s Country Marathon Race Series includes a Half Marathon and Relay option.
