Gobbler Grind Marathon Elevation Chart
Max Elevation: 945 feet (288m) Min Elevation: 843 feet (257m)
Enjoyed this race. The race was well organized. The people were very supportive on and off the run. The course was well marked. The elevation chart was spot on. Coming from Florida it was a bit chilly and hilly. Lucked out that race day was the ideal temperature. Day before it was 15 degrees and the day after it was 27 and snowing. Only recommendation would be to have pacers at the BQ times. There was no 4:05 or 4:10 pacer but there were 2 at the 4:00. Some pacers ran alone most of the race.
Race Tips
Start slow so you have gas in the tank for the last 6 miles. The last 6 miles were a nice down hill slope so enjoy them. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time before race to use the port a potty as they are a little hike from the start line.
